Chapter 937: Ruler of Esports 51

“Who knows! This round is already hard enough—we absolutely can’t let Kai scale!” someone on the NSDD side muttered.

If Kai reached late game, neither the marksman nor the mage would survive even a single encounter with him.

The most frustrated person, however, was still Lin Haiyang. Before this, he had always believed that Tang Wan only performed so well because Fan Tong created a perfect environment for her as a marksman. In his mind, she relied on protection to deal damage. But now that he had faced her directly, he realized how wrong he had been. Her playstyle was aggressive and suffocating—there was no safe distance against her.

At the 15-minute mark, another team fight broke out.

Shangguan Wan'er once again activated her ultimate and entered a flying state. Her combo rained down mercilessly, reducing Tang Wan’s Kai to a sliver of health near the jungle. If not for the timely activation of her Famous Sword, she would have died instantly.

But Kai was called “Kai the Emperor” for a reason.

Even with only a trace of health left, he remained deadly in the right hands. The moment Shangguan Wan’er landed, Tang Wan activated Kai’s ultimate and charged forward, her blade cutting through the air.

One slash.

Shangguan Wan’er’s health dropped to near zero.

Startled, Lin Haiyang immediately activated Huiyue, entering a 1.5-second invulnerable state. But when the golden glow faded, even with minions arriving nearby, it made no difference—Kai finished her off without hesitation.

At that moment, Tang Wan let out a cold snort and said calmly, “No matter how fancy your mechanics are… you still can’t beat your daddy Kai.”

The TG team members were briefly stunned. They hadn’t expected her to be this fierce, but at the same time, having such a teammate felt incredibly reassuring.

Meanwhile, Sima Yi—controlled by Fan Tong—swiftly eliminated Li Yuanfang. With the enemy marksman gone, the pressure on TG immediately eased. The opposing tank tried to retreat, but their fighter had already been surrounded and taken down.

This team fight once again pushed the advantage firmly into TG’s hands.

From that point on, their tempo surged. They ignored tanks, ignored support, and even disregarded towers. Instead, they focused solely on targeting the enemy’s mage and marksman. With both core damage dealers constantly shut down, NSDD had no way to recover.

By the 18-minute mark, TG broke through the bottom lane and destroyed the enemy crystal, securing the first game.

The NSDD team’s expressions darkened. They hadn’t reached this stage without strength, but facing TG now felt different. More precisely, it wasn’t just TG—it was the combination of Tang Wan and Fan Tong. One created openings and chaos, while the other capitalized and snowballed the advantage. Together, they were overwhelming.

Tang Wan turned to Fan Tong with a smile. “Tong Tong, your Sima Yi was amazing.”

Fan Tong smiled back. “That’s because Wan Wan set everything up perfectly.”

The other teammates immediately laughed. “Alright, you two, stop complimenting each other. The match isn’t over yet.”

Despite the teasing, the tension from earlier had completely disappeared. Before the game, they had been cautious—even nervous—about facing NSDD. Now, with Tang Wan and Fan Tong working in perfect sync, they felt completely at ease. As long as the rest of them stayed steady, victory was only a matter of time.
