Chapter 2: Does It Matter If I Am Gay?

When the male makeup artist heard Tang Wan’s words, he was immediately stunned. The others around him looked at him with envy, wishing Tang Wan would casually point at them instead.

That was five billion!

After a while, the male makeup artist finally reacted. His face flushed red as he asked, “Is it okay if I’m gay?”

“It doesn’t matter if you’re gay or anything else. As long as you hold a wedding with me, the five billion will be yours!” Tang Wan said.

“I agree!” he replied excitedly, nodding desperately.

Tang Wan snapped her fingers when she heard this.

“Okay! You guys, hurry up and change his clothes and fix his styling!”

Hah!

Did they really think she absolutely had to marry Sun Wu?

Three-legged toads were hard to find, but there were plenty of two-legged men in the world!

...

Hearing Tang Wan’s words, the others immediately got busy, pressing the temporary groom into a chair while applying makeup and changing him into a suit.

Half an hour later, Tang Wan wore a crown studded with jewels as she walked arm in arm toward the wedding hall with the groom, whose legs were trembling so badly he could barely stand.

However, no one expected that when Tang Wan reached the center of the hotel lobby, the enormous crystal chandelier above suddenly crashed down toward her.

Boom!

Amid the guests’ screams, the crystal chandelier hit the ground with a deafening crash.

Tang Wan fell to the floor instantly. Bright red blood quickly stained her white wedding dress. The exquisite makeup on her face was completely ruined by the blood flowing from her forehead, making the scene look terrifying.

The temporary groom had already been scared senseless. Strangely enough, although the two of them had been holding hands, he wasn’t affected at all.

Soon, security guards rushed over and lifted the chandelier away. Among the guests, a hospital director stepped forward to examine Tang Wan.

After a while, he shook his head regretfully.

“Miss Tang Wan died on the spot.”

As soon as those words were spoken, the guests immediately burst into shocked sighs.

It was said that Tang Wan possessed the rare fate of lifelong solitude and would never be able to marry successfully. Who would have thought the rumors were actually true?

Now she had even lost her life because of it!

...

At that moment, Tang Wan discovered that she was standing inside a misty white space.

She looked around in confusion, wondering where this place was.

If she remembered correctly, she had just been crushed to death. It had hurt terribly, but fortunately she died quickly and didn’t suffer for long.

Was this the legendary underworld?

Just as Tang Wan was feeling puzzled, she suddenly heard a childish voice pretending to sound mature.

“Do you want a perfect husband who is gentle, caring, handsome, and rich? No 998, no 888! As long as you bind with this daddy, all kinds of perfect husbands will be delivered directly to your door—guaranteed fresh and never expired!”

Hearing this, Tang Wan immediately twitched speechlessly.

Then she looked around and asked, “Who are you?”

Judging from the voice, it sounded like a child.

The moment Tang Wan’s words fell, a cute little boy suddenly appeared in front of her. He wore black ancient-style clothing and looked as delicate as a doll.

He appeared to be only two or three years old, but his fair little face carried the expression of a serious adult. Combined with his deliberately mature tone, the contrast was almost unbearably adorable.

Tang Wan suddenly had the urge to pinch his soft, chubby cheeks.

“My name is Daddy! Because your unwillingness to stay unmarried before death was too strong, I came to fulfill your wish!” the child said solemnly.

After hearing this, Tang Wan’s mouth twitched fiercely again.

How was she desperate for a husband?

She was simply unwilling to accept dying without ever successfully getting married, okay?
