Chapter 936: Ruler of Esports 50

Tang Wan didn’t rush.

Once she reached level four and unlocked Kai’s ultimate, she simply waited—calm, patient, and silent.

A few minutes later, her Kai hit level four.

At that exact moment, the enemy made their move.

The opposing mid laner Shangguan Wan'er—controlled by Lin Haiyang—rotated down with their marksman and support to gank her.

Tang Wan sneered slightly.

“Tong Tong, come here and collapse on them,” she said.

Fan Tong responded instantly. “On my way. I’m at blue—going in now.”

He had chosen Sima Yi for one reason only: to target Lin Haiyang.

The NSDD mid lane had always been their weak point. Now that Lin Haiyang had taken that role, Fan Tong had no intention of letting him breathe.

A second later, a dark circular sigil appeared beneath Shangguan Wan’er’s feet—the unmistakable mark of Sima Yi locking onto his target.

Lin Haiyang reacted immediately. “Sima Yi’s here—be careful!”

Without hesitation, he activated Shangguan Wan’er’s ultimate.

Her body lifted into the air, entering an untargetable flying state as she prepared to dive and burst Sima Yi down. Against most mages or assassins, this would have guaranteed a kill.

But Tang Wan had already moved.

Seeing Sima Yi about to take the full hit, she stepped in decisively—slowing the enemy marksman and support, then positioning herself between them and Fan Tong.

She took the damage head-on.

A series of sharp impact sounds rang out.

When the exchange ended, Kai still stood with over half his health remaining—while Sima Yi was left with only a sliver of HP.

Without her intervention, he would’ve been deleted instantly.

Shangguan Wan’er descended near the river.

For a split second, Lin Haiyang thought he had escaped danger.

Then Tang Wan made her move.

Kai’s ultimate activated.

She flashed forward.

One slash—Shangguan Wan’er’s health plummeted to near zero.

Lin Haiyang’s pupils shrank. He immediately used Flash to retreat.

Too late.

Sima Yi surged forward with a shadowy dash, his blade cutting cleanly through.

The kill was secured.

The coordination was flawless.

Lin Haiyang’s expression darkened.

So that’s why she didn’t chase earlier—she had been setting him up as a guaranteed kill for the assassin.

After securing the mid laner, Sima Yi instantly turned toward the enemy marksman.

The Bull Demon King stepped forward, using his ultimate to slam into Kai and interrupt the advance. Kai’s health dropped again.

But Sima Yi had already arrived.

His second skill activated—silence.

The enemy marksman, Li Yuanfang, froze.

No skills.

No escape.

No repositioning.

With no options left, Li Yuanfang tried to fight back with basic attacks, targeting Kai’s already low health.

His damage exploded—

Yet Kai still didn’t fall.

Li Yuanfang collapsed first.

“Damn it… why is this Kai so hard to kill?” he muttered in frustration.

With both the mage and marksman down, the Bull Demon had no choice but to retreat under tower.

As he disengaged, he couldn’t help but mutter, half in disbelief:

“Is this ‘Sweetheart’s’ fighter really this strong? That prediction… that timing… it’s insane.”

Because if Tang Wan hadn’t stepped in to absorb Shangguan Wan’er’s damage—

Fan Tong’s Sima Yi wouldn’t have survived that dive at all.
