Chapter 932: Ruler of Esports 46
After hearing his explanation, Tang Wan finally relaxed. Only then did she realize something and quickly raised a hand to cover her clothes, her cheeks flushing red.
Inside her mind, Little Cutie clicked its tongue. “Host, your acting skills are getting better and better. Blushing on command—impressive.”
Tang Wan snorted softly. “What do you know? You’re just an AI.”
All she had to do was let her thoughts wander slightly in the wrong direction, and the blush would come naturally. It wasn’t difficult at all.
At that moment, Fan Tong looked at her with a faint smile. “Don’t be nervous. I won’t do anything to you.”
Little Cutie immediately muttered, “That line sounds awfully familiar.”
Tang Wan: “...”
But on the surface, she nodded obediently, her expression shy and trusting. “Mm, I know.” Then she walked over and sat on the bed.
Fan Tong rose from the sofa and sat beside her. Not long after, the man who had just promised he “wouldn’t do anything” proved himself completely unreliable. By the end of the night, he hadn’t even left her room.
The next morning, when Tang Wan woke up, Fan Tong was still there. He leaned on one hand, quietly watching her sleeping face. Seeing her open her eyes, he smiled softly. “You’re awake?”
Before she could respond, he leaned down and lightly kissed her, then straightened up. “I’ll head back now.”
“Mm.” Tang Wan nodded, her face slightly flushed, watching as he walked toward the balcony.
After he left, she couldn’t help but shake her head.
Men really did have a talent for saying one thing and doing another.
Still… she wasn’t exactly unwilling.
After changing back into her clothes, Tang Wan stretched lazily, then went to wash up. Once breakfast was over, she joined the rest of the team for training as usual.
Time passed quickly, and soon it was Tuesday again. With matches scheduled every week from Tuesday to Friday, Tang Wan began competing regularly. Thanks to her outstanding performance, the TG team advanced smoothly into the semifinals.
Around the same time, the college entrance exam results were released.
Tang Wan herself wasn’t particularly anxious—she already had a clear idea of her own performance. But others were far more nervous than she was.
When the results came out, both she and her mother were immediately contacted.
She had taken first place in the city.
When Mother Tang heard the news, she burst into tears of joy. It wasn’t that she hadn’t worried before—she simply kept comforting herself, thinking that even if Tang Wan didn’t perform well academically, her current income was already better than most graduates.
But she never expected such a result.
A city champion.
All the anxiety she had carried for weeks disappeared in an instant.
As for Tang Wan, her reaction was much calmer. This score was well within her expectations. In fact, if she had wanted to, she could have scored even higher—but there was no need. As long as she safely cleared the admission line for her target university, that was enough.
When the TG team heard the news, however, they were stunned.
“Damn! City champion?” Tiger blurted out. “Dandan, you’re even more terrifying than the captain!”
Tang Wan’s expression stiffened slightly as she turned to look at him.
“…What did you just call me?”
