Chapter 925: Ruler of Esports 39
After Qiqi agreed to his confession, Lin Haiyang was ecstatic.
As for Tang Wan, he had long since forgotten about her. His earlier interactions had only been for convenience—copying homework and getting her to do assignments for him. Now that he had joined a professional team and no longer needed school, there was no reason to stay in contact.
To him, Tang Wan was nothing more than an ordinary neighbor.
Tang Wan also heard about Lin Haiyang and Qiqi getting together, but she didn’t care at all. Whatever happened between them had nothing to do with her.
Soon, June arrived.
With the college entrance examination approaching, Fan Tong took a few days off and came to accompany her during the exams. Tang Wan didn’t refuse—she was genuinely happy to spend time with him.
After the exams, Fan Tong didn’t ask about her results. Instead, he had already gathered information on universities in his city and nearby areas, preparing for the possibility that Tang Wan might not score well enough.
However, Tang Wan had already made her own plans.
After the exams, she arranged for a nanny to take care of her mother, because she would soon be heading to the TG club for training.
“Mom, it’s hot outside. You should head back soon,” Tang Wan said. “I’ll come home once a month—you don’t need to worry about me.”
Mother Tang nodded, then looked at Fan Tong. “Xiaotong, I’ll leave Wanwan to you. If she does anything wrong, please be patient and guide her.”
“Auntie, don’t worry,” Fan Tong replied gently. “Everyone in the club is around her age—some are even younger. They’ll definitely get along well.”
He didn’t dare mention that the entire club was full of boys. If Mother Tang knew, she might not feel at ease letting Tang Wan stay there.
Mother Tang nodded. “That’s good. Be careful on your way.”
“You too, Auntie,” Fan Tong said.
Originally, he had planned to take Tang Wan directly, but Mother Tang insisted on accompanying them to the station.
“I will. Go check your tickets!” she said with a smile.
She could already see the relationship between the two. But to her, as long as Tang Wan could move on from Lin Haiyang, that was enough.
After a two-hour train ride, they arrived in the neighboring city.
At the TG club, a group of teenagers in team uniforms were training on their phones. When Tiger spotted Fan Tong returning with Tang Wan, his eyes lit up.
“Captain, you’re back? Is this our sister-in-law?”
The others immediately turned toward the door.
Fan Tong led Tang Wan forward. “Yes. This is Wan Wan. None of you are allowed to bully her.”
The group burst into laughter. “As if we’d dare with you around!”
They stepped forward one by one to greet her enthusiastically. Although this was their first time meeting in person, they were already familiar from playing together every night.
Tang Wan smiled slightly. “Hello.”
After the greetings, the coach walked over.
“Tang Wan is here? Welcome. Come to my office first,” he said.
