Chapter 916: Ruler of Esports 30

At this moment, Fan Tong stared at the screen, momentarily dazed by Little Cutie’s reply. The anchor likes Tong Huashun… so the special thank-you is because of that? His thoughts shifted quickly. Tang Wan… is she really that bold? Could that moderator actually be her? And yet, for some reason, he found himself hoping it was.

Meanwhile, Tang Wan had no idea what kind of chaos Little Cutie had stirred up. She remained focused on the game, calmly controlling Li Bai while saying, “The enemy mage is pretty strong this round. Let’s target them.” As expected, she spent the entire match locking onto the opposing mage, catching them repeatedly until they completely lost their composure.

By the end of the game, the enemy mage had died ten times and was angrily complaining about having “no game experience.” Tang Wan remained completely indifferent. She simply followed her rhythm, controlled the map, and secured the win with clean, precise plays.

For the audience, however, it was a completely different story. Watching her smooth mechanics and repeated clutch plays, more and more viewers were drawn in. Her popularity kept climbing, yet at the same time, everyone became increasingly curious about one thing—who exactly was Tong Huashun?

At this point, Little Cutie realized things would spiral out of control if Tang Wan didn’t know what had happened. He quickly said, “Host, the villain just sent you gifts. I replied for you… take a look.” Then he pulled up the chat screenshots.

Tang Wan’s heart skipped slightly as she read through them. When she saw Little Cutie’s bold “confession-style” reply, she went silent for a moment. Then a faint smile appeared on her lips. Reaching out, she patted his head. “Not bad. After the upgrade, your brain is finally working.” Little Cutie froze, completely unconvinced.

But Tang Wan was already thinking ahead. She had Little Cutie bring up the live chat, then glanced through it while deliberately putting on a slightly flustered expression. “Tongtong, why are you here…?” she said softly. “Sorry everyone, I need to pause the stream for a moment.” Without hesitation, she ended the broadcast.

Right after that, she sent a voice message, sounding nervous. “Tongtong… is Tong Huashun in my stream… you?”

Fan Tong’s heart stirred immediately. He didn’t hesitate and opened a video call. When she answered, his voice carried a faint smile. “It’s me.” Thinking about what had just happened on stream, he decided not to give her any room to retreat. “I heard you said you’d devote yourself to me? Ten spaceships for a girlfriend… seems like I got a good deal.”

Tang Wan’s cheeks flushed instantly. “I—I’m sorry! That was my friend talking nonsense!”

For a moment, Fan Tong’s expression darkened. So he misunderstood? Was he overthinking it?

But before that thought could settle, Tang Wan lowered her head slightly and added in a soft voice, almost like a whisper, “But… what they said… wasn’t wrong.”

Fan Tong paused, then let out a low laugh. In his mind, her so-called “friend” clearly meant herself. “Really?” he said, his tone deepening. “Then I should thank your ‘friend.’” His fox-like eyes curved with unmistakable satisfaction, clearly unwilling to let her escape now.

Tang Wan looked up at him, her expression carrying a hint of surprise. “Tongtong, you…?”

“What?” Fan Tong smiled faintly. “Surprised that I like you?”

“…Yes,” she replied softly.

But in her heart, she remained completely calm. By now, she had already noticed something—no matter how deeply the “villain” in each world was originally attached to the heroine, once she appeared, their attention would always shift to her.
