After becoming an intern at Tang Technology Corporation, Tang Guo spent much less time at the snack shop. Whenever she had free time, she was usually heading to the company.

Although Tang Kui did his best to make time to drive Tang Guo there, Tao Yu was like a persistent fly, appearing everywhere. The moment Tang Kui became slightly occupied and turned his back, before long, his sister would be whisked away by Tao Yu. Just thinking about it made him furious.

During a family meal that weekend, Tang Kui proposed, "Guoguo, how about I arrange a driver for you? Whenever I don't have time, the driver can take you to the company."

Lin Yinghui and Tang Yongbo nodded in agreement. Their precious daughter was only an intern; there was nothing wrong with having a chauffeur pick her up.

"It's really not that troublesome. There's no need," Tang Guo refused outright, causing Tang Kui to look deeply at her. "You really don't need one?"

"No. Things are fine the way they are," Tang Guo repeated.

Tang Kui was inwardly conflicted. If this sister had truly been his original sister, he could have justifiably stopped her from getting close to Tao Yu. But this sister wasn't the original one. Like him, she was an old hand who had traveled through countless worlds.

Since she wasn't willing, he really had no right to interfere, though it still left him feeling somewhat uncomfortable.

In truth, he quite enjoyed having a sister with shared interests and outstanding ability. Yet every single time, Tao Yu managed to snatch away her attention, making him feel utterly dissatisfied as an older brother.

Wasn't his mission supposed to be spoiling his sister?

"Fine."

Tang Kui compromised and stopped forcing the issue. Instead, he said, "Guoguo, while you have some free time, why don't you get your driver's license first? Once you have it, your brother will buy you a car. It'll make traveling around much more convenient, and there'll be no need to arrange a driver."

"Alright, Brother, that's a good suggestion." Tang Guo smiled and readily agreed.

Tang Kui was delighted. Once Guoguo got her license, he'd buy her several cars. Then she could drive herself to the company every day, and that Tao Yu fellow would have no excuse to come see her anymore.

Watching the harmonious atmosphere between the siblings, Tang Yi felt bitterness rise in her heart.

Back when she was in school, she had always looked forward to the day she could see Tang Kui.

In high school, she attended the city's best boarding school and could only come home on weekends.

The reason she had looked forward to weekends was because she could see Tang Kui once she got home.

But now, weekends had become what she dreaded most. Whether Tang Kui and Tang Guo were sitting together at the dining table, strolling through the garden downstairs, exercising together in the morning, or locking themselves inside the study discussing something, they were always so harmonious and natural.

Those two truly seemed like brother and sister.

She simply couldn't insert herself into their conversations.

What hurt her most was Tang Kui's undisguised doting on Tang Guo.

"Xiaoyi, you're an adult now too. When you have time, you should get your driver's license as well." Lin Yinghui smiled. "When the time comes, you and Guoguo can pick out whatever cars you want, and we'll go look together."

It had to be said that the Tang couple had treated her more than generously. Whenever the whole family was together, they always paid attention to Tang Yi.

Unfortunately, all Tang Yi could see was Tang Kui's indifference toward her and his intimacy with Tang Guo.

Snapping back to reality, Tang Yi replied, "I will, Mom."

After speaking, she glanced toward Tang Kui. He seemed not to have noticed her at all and didn't even express any intention of buying her a car as well.

Her heart felt even worse.
