Chapter 1161: Ruthless CEO 51

Without turning back, Tang Wan said calmly, “Please don’t be sentimental. I never loved you.”

Her voice was flat, without any fluctuation.

“I married you only because of the Tang family. But I later realized…” she paused slightly, then continued, “the Tang family isn’t worth ruining my life over.”

And just like that, she walked out of the Tang house with Li Shuangtong, not once looking back.

Inside the car, the moment the door closed, Tang Wan’s expression changed instantly. She turned toward Li Shuangtong with bright eyes.

“Tongtong, you were amazing just now!” she said excitedly. “That move was so clean!”

Li Shuangtong chuckled lightly. “Weren’t you the one who told me not to hit people inside?”

Tang Wan leaned back comfortably. “I was just worried the Fu family would cause trouble. We’re technically ‘civilized people’ now.”

She suddenly thought of something and turned to him. “Wait… that one billion you mentioned earlier—did you really give it?”

Li Shuangtong’s lips curled slightly.

From his suit pocket, he casually pulled out the remaining cheque.

Tang Wan took it immediately.

At that moment, Little Cutie’s voice rang in her mind: “Host, this cheque is invalid. It’s from a cancelled corporate account—cannot be cashed.”

Tang Wan froze for a second.

Then she burst out laughing. “I knew it.”

Li Shuangtong glanced at her amused expression. “It was from a company I acquired before. The account is long inactive.”

“So they were happily signing fake money?” Tang Wan asked, still laughing.

“Yes.” Li Shuangtong answered calmly.

There was no guilt in his tone at all.

Tang Wan immediately leaned into his arms. “Tongtong, you’re so bad—but I love it!”

She was already imagining Father Tang’s face when he realized the truth at the bank.

That would be priceless.

Meanwhile, back at the Tang house, after Tang Wan and Li Shuangtong left, Fu Yunshan immediately made a call to his secretary. His expression was icy.

Then he turned to Tang Ci, his eyes full of disgust.

“I really regret ever being interested in you,” he said coldly. “I was blind.”

Tang Ci’s face instantly turned sharp. “What does this have to do with me? You were the one who refused to cancel the engagement! You acted like I was irreplaceable—how was I supposed to refuse you?”

Her voice rose.

“If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have needed to fake my death at all!”

Fu Yunshan sneered. “Still refusing to admit fault?”

Tang Ci laughed bitterly. “Blame me? You were the one who made everything impossible! Who can resist your dominance?!”

That sentence made Fu Yunshan’s expression turn completely dark.

A strange, almost twisted smile appeared on his face.

Then, ignoring his injuries, he limped forward. Before Tang Ci could react, he grabbed her carefully styled hair and yanked her forward.

“Dominant?” he repeated softly.

Tang Ci screamed in pain.

Fu Yunshan leaned closer, his voice low and dangerous.

“Don’t worry. I won’t divorce you.”

His grip tightened.

“You’re going to endure everything I endured.”

And with that, he dragged her straight toward the door.
