Chapter 1156: Ruthless CEO 46

When Tang Ci heard Li Shuangtong’s indifferent response, her fingernails instantly dug into her palm. A burning, suffocating jealousy rose in her chest.

This was the voice she had been obsessed with for years—cold, magnetic, restrained—yet now it was used so gently, so naturally, for Tang Wan. And worse… he didn’t even look at her. Not even once.

Tang Ci forced herself to calm down. After a moment, she lifted her lips into a soft, carefully practiced smile and stepped forward.

“Excuse me… you’re Wanwan’s husband, right?” she asked sweetly. “I don’t think I’ve had the chance to ask your name.”

Li Shuangtong didn’t even lift his eyes. He simply ignored her as if she didn’t exist.

The atmosphere instantly froze.

Fu Yunshan’s face darkened. “She’s talking to you. Didn’t you hear her? Is that your manners?”

Mother Tang also frowned and turned toward Tang Wan. “Wanwan, how have you become so rude now? Xiao Ci is speaking to you—don’t you even know how to respond?”

Tang Wan leaned comfortably against Li Shuangtong, her expression calm and unbothered. “Why should I respond just because she speaks to me?”

She raised her eyes slightly, gaze cool. “When I was ignored before, why didn’t any of you teach her manners then?”

The room went silent for a moment.

Tang Wan’s tone remained even, but every word landed sharply.

“In this house, I was always the one doing wrong,” she continued. “Tang Ci did everything right. She got praised for everything. I scored ten points higher, and you told me I should’ve scored lower so she wouldn’t feel bad.”

Her gaze swept across them. “So now what? You expect me to come back and continue playing the obedient daughter role?”

A faint, mocking smile appeared on her lips. “You think I came back for family affection?”

Tang Father and Tang Mother stiffened.

They hadn’t expected her to speak so directly.

Mother Tang quickly tried to recover. “Xiao Ci didn’t ignore you. She was looking for you as soon as she came back!”

Tang Wan let out a soft laugh. “Looking for me?” she repeated.

Her eyes landed on Tang Ci. “To show off? To show me how quickly Fu Yunshan rushed to marry you even after everything?”

Her smile deepened slightly. “Even after you used death to escape a marriage contract… he still chose you?”

She tilted her head. “Congratulations. You won a man who didn’t even hesitate to discard me.”

Tang Ci’s expression changed instantly. “I didn’t!” she said quickly. “Wanwan, how can you say that about me? I only wanted to explain to you! I tried calling you, but you blocked me…”

Her eyes turned watery as she looked toward Li Shuangtong again, seeking sympathy.

But still—he didn’t even glance at her.

Tang Wan gave a soft scoff. “Wrong person again.”

Her gaze shifted lazily to Fu Yunshan. “You should be performing this kind of pitiful act for your husband, not mine.”

Her tone cooled further. “And let me make this clear—my husband only has me in his eyes.”

She turned slightly toward Li Shuangtong, the corners of her lips lifting.

“Right, Tongtong?”

Li Shuangtong finally looked at her. His gaze softened immediately.

“Yes.”

His voice was calm but decisive. “In my eyes, there is only you.”

A pause.

“Everyone else is irrelevant.”
