Chapter 1155: Ruthless CEO 45

Mother Tang’s eyes immediately lit up. “It must be Wanwan and the others!”

She hurried toward the door.

Tang Ci also followed closely behind, almost rushing out without even glancing at Fu Yunshan.

Fu Yunshan frowned slightly, but didn’t think much of it—he only assumed Tang Ci was too eager to see Tang Wan.

Outside the gate, Tang Wan and Li Shuangtong had just stepped out of the car.

The black Bugatti was parked neatly at the curb. The two of them walked slowly down, carrying a few gift boxes.

Tang Wan smiled lightly. “Mom, why did you come out to greet us? Sorry for being late. Tongtong had a business matter at noon and couldn’t leave in time.”

She glanced at Li Shuangtong affectionately. “Have you eaten yet?”

Mother Tang forced a smile. “Not yet, we were waiting for you.”

“Then let’s go in,” Tang Wan said naturally.

She held Li Shuangtong’s hand and walked inside without hesitation.

In Li Shuangtong’s other hand, he carried neatly prepared gift boxes—tea, wine, and supplements, simple yet appropriate.

At the doorway, Tang Ci rushed out first.

The moment she saw Li Shuangtong, her steps froze.

The man she had dreamed of for years was walking side by side with Tang Wan, holding her hand naturally, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

Tang Ci quickly forced down her emotions.

She couldn’t lose composure.

Men liked gentle, innocent, harmless women.

That had always worked for her before.

As long as she acted right, there would still be a chance.

But reality hit her harder than expected.

Li Shuangtong didn’t even look at her.

He only nodded faintly to Tang Father and Tang Mother before walking straight into the house with Tang Wan.

Cold. Indifferent. Completely uninterested.

Tang Ci’s expression stiffened for a split second.

Fu Yunshan, who had been standing inside, finally looked up.

And the moment his eyes landed on Tang Wan, his pupils contracted slightly.

He froze.

This… wasn’t the Tang Wan he remembered.

In his memory, after the divorce she should have been broken, resentful, or at least struggling.

But the woman in front of him was completely different.

Calm. Confident. Radiant.

There was even a faint smile on her face—one that seemed to come from genuine happiness.

Not forced. Not pretended.

Real.

And that realization made something in his chest tighten.

Meanwhile, Tang Wan acted as if Fu Yunshan and Tang Ci didn’t exist at all.

She pulled Li Shuangtong toward the sofa and casually placed the gift boxes down.

“Are you tired, Tongtong?” she asked softly.

“I’m fine,” Li Shuangtong replied, his gaze immediately softening as he looked at her. “You’ve been running around all day. You should be resting.”

His voice was low and magnetic, carrying an unmistakable tenderness.

It landed clearly in everyone’s ears.
