Chapter 1132: Ruthless CEO 22

Seeing Li Shuang’s jaw almost drop in shock, Tang Wan’s expression remained calm and cold. “If you like him that much, go chase him yourself. Don’t expect me to help you.”

Li Shuang frowned sharply. “Why are you competing with me? You don’t even love him! You said you were giving him up, but you’re just pretending. In your heart, you still love him!”

Tang Wan glanced at her as if she were ridiculous. “Are you a worm in my stomach? You think you can read my mind?” She chuckled lightly. “Sorry to disappoint you, but I really don’t want him anymore. A man who humiliates me, cheats openly, and treats me like nothing—I’m not interested. I’m not that cheap.”

She tilted her chin slightly. “As for Mr. Li, feel free to pursue him. Whoever wins him, that’s their ability.”

That sentence hit Li Shuang hard. “You’re a second-married woman—what right do you have to compare with me?” she snapped.

Tang Wan gave her a slow, contemptuous look and smiled faintly. “Yes, I am divorced. But at least my private life is clean. Unlike someone juggling multiple men and still acting innocent.”

Li Shuang froze, face turning pale. She hadn’t actually done those things, but she also couldn’t explain anything in this world. Tang Wan no longer cared, put on her sunglasses, and turned away.

“Wait for me to regret it?” she said lightly. “You’ll be disappointed.” She left without looking back. Behind her, Li Shuang stomped her foot in anger. “Tang Wan! You’ll regret this!”

She firmly believed that according to the original plot, Li Shuangtong would eventually fall for the heroine, and she would be the one who knew the ending.

Two days later, Tang Wan booked a flight to S City and submitted resumes to several major companies there, including Li Shuangtong’s corporation. On the surface, she looked like she was simply job hunting, but every step was carefully aimed at one target: Li Shuangtong.

With her strong resume, interview invitations arrived quickly. After confirming the schedules, she began packing.

That night, in a high-rise office, Li Shuangtong’s secretary handed over her file. “Mr. Li, Miss Tang submitted her resume. HR has scheduled her interview in three days.”

Li Shuangtong took it and read it slowly, line by line. When his gaze landed on her photo, it paused for a moment. Then he closed the file.

“Cancel the interview,” he said calmly.

The secretary froze. “Sir?”

“She doesn’t need an interview. Direct onboarding. Arrange housing in Blue Whale Bay.” He paused slightly. “The unit next to mine is vacant. Let her stay there.”
