Just rest well.”

At that, Tang Wan lowered her gaze, her expression dimming. “I don’t have any family…” Li Sitong paused. “No family?” “My parents passed away,” she said quietly.

He frowned slightly, then asked, “What about friends?” Tang Wan hesitated, then nodded faintly. She picked up her phone and scrolled for a long time before making a call. “Hello, Aunt Li? I’ve been in a car accident and need someone to take care of me. Do you have time? I’ll pay you one thousand a day… is that okay?”
