As she stood waiting in the parking lot, watching his car approach, her eyes flickered with a sudden idea.

Just as the car was about to reach her, Tang Wan walked to a nearby trash can and, with a quick, guilty motion, threw the small cake inside.

The cake he had carefully made for her—

“The cake… I ate it,” Tang Wan replied, her eyes darting toward the trash can, her expression clearly guilty.

What he couldn’t tolerate most was having his pastries disrespected.

She might not like eating them—but she absolutely shouldn’t treat something he made with care like trash.

Taking a deep breath, he rolled down the window and looked at her indifferently.

“Tang Wan, let’s break up.”

Maybe they were never suited for each other.

But the car had already disappeared into the distance.
