Chapter 958: Beautiful Girl (3)

When the original owner saw the post, she immediately went to the basketball court to find Zuo Ran and Wei Liang, begging them to help prove her innocence.

That day had merely been an ordinary gathering between friends.

It was nothing like the words attached to those photos, nothing like being "kept" by them.

Besides, she had never spent even a single cent of their money.

The basketball court was crowded that day.

She herself attracted attention wherever she went, and Zuo Ran and Wei Liang were no different. The girls watching them play basketball could practically form a line all the way to the school gates.

She thought the two of them would explain the truth.

Never in her wildest dreams had she expected that Zuo Ran and Wei Liang would merely smile and announce to everyone,

"Since everyone has already seen it, there's no point hiding it. Wei Liang and I are indeed keeping her together."

Zuo Ran said those words out of revenge.

Revenge for wasting his time.

Revenge because she hadn't yielded to him.

Never once did he consider how devastating those words would be to the original owner.

"That's right," Wei Liang chimed in with a laugh. "You probably don't know this, but she definitely isn't as pure and innocent in bed as she acts now. Next time we get the chance, we'll take some pictures and let all of you enjoy them."

The original owner froze on the spot.

She stared at the two boys in disbelief, pleading with them to tell the truth and prove that none of it was real.

Instead, the two casually pulled out stacks of cash from their pockets and tossed them in front of her.

"Alright, alright. Isn't it money you want? Take it and buy whatever you like. We'll come find you tonight."

Those words crushed the last shred of hope inside her.

At that moment, she felt abandoned by the entire world.

The strange looks.

The contempt.

The disdain in everyone's eyes.

She could no longer bear it.

The incident caused an enormous uproar.

The school concluded that a girl like her remaining at the school would only corrupt the atmosphere.

Parents who heard the rumors also voiced their complaints, demanding her expulsion. Some even threatened to transfer their children elsewhere if she was allowed to stay.

Naturally, the school wasn't willing to shoulder such pressure for the sake of one Tang Guo.

In the end, the original owner was expelled.

Xu Meihui also heard about the matter.

The first thing she did was slap her daughter.

When the original owner tried to explain, Xu Meihui said angrily,

"I warned you long ago not to get involved with those rich boys. Why wouldn't you listen? Tell me, were you hoping to climb into a wealthy family and live a good life? Do you really think those people are decent?"

Even though Xu Meihui knew her daughter was innocent, she still couldn't help blaming her.

After venting her anger, she tried to transfer schools for her daughter.

But no school in the city dared to accept her.

Despite everything, Xu Meihui truly loved her daughter.

Watching her mother run around desperately, explaining to anyone who questioned her daughter's character, insisting that Tang Guo wasn't that kind of girl and that those spoiled rich boys had framed her, only made things more painful.

No one believed them.

Because of the constant trouble, Xu Meihui even lost her job.

After she eventually found another one, the original owner witnessed a man trying to harass her mother.

He sneered,

"Your daughter isn't decent either. She probably learned it from you. Stop pretending to be innocent."

The original owner felt her life descend into darkness.

She thought she had to do something.

So she went to find Zuo Ran and Wei Liang again, pleading for them to help clear her name.

But these two arrogant young masters had no intention of doing so.

Instead, they used her visit to humiliate her even further.

They told others,

"We've already lost interest in her, but who would've thought she'd be shameless enough to come looking for us again, begging us to keep her. I really didn't expect her to be that kind of person."

Their words spread quickly.

And with them, they pushed her deeper into hell.
