Chapter 66: Cruel Prince 15
Before dawn, Tang Wan was already dragged out of bed. Still half-asleep, she was dressed and groomed almost entirely with her eyes closed.
It wasn’t until the heavy phoenix crown was placed on her head that she finally woke up completely. Then she looked at herself in the mirror.
After seeing the breathtakingly beautiful woman reflected there, Tang Wan immediately said excitedly to the little cutie:
“Little Cutie, remember to take lots of pictures of me! This outfit looks amazing!”
The little cutie replied in an old fatherly tone, “Don’t worry, daughter! Leave it to Dad!”
Tang Wan immediately snapped, “Are you asking for a beating?”
The little cutie instantly went silent.
...
Before long, once the auspicious hour arrived, a red bridal veil was placed over Tang Wan’s head.
Then, amid lively music and celebration, she crossed the brazier, entered the bridal sedan chair, and was carried all the way to the Crown Prince’s residence.
After the wedding ceremony was completed, Tang Wan was escorted into the bridal chamber by the matchmaker.
Once Feng Qitong temporarily left the room, Tang Wan immediately whispered excitedly:
“Little Cutie, did you record the wedding just now? Show it to me!”
The little cutie quickly replayed the recording.
Tang Wan watched it with great interest before sighing emotionally:
“Feng Qitong looks ridiculously handsome in red robes! Seriously, he’s too good-looking!”
Marrying a face like this truly wasn’t a loss at all.
Hearing this, the little cutie laughed.
“Now you finally understand how good I’ve been to you? Where else could you possibly find a husband like this?”
Tang Wan rolled her eyes.
“Then why don’t you mention how terrible his personality is? If I hadn’t been lucky, I might already be dead by now.”
The little cutie chuckled awkwardly.
“Well... villains usually have personality issues one way or another. That’s normal!”
...
After Tang Wan finished replaying the wedding video nearly ten times, the bridal chamber door was finally pushed open.
“Greetings, Your Highness!”
“Leave,” Feng Qitong ordered coldly. “Without this prince’s permission, no one is allowed to approach.”
“Yes, Your Highness.”
Soon, the room became completely quiet once again.
Then, beneath Tang Wan’s red veil, she saw the tip of a pair of black boots stop in front of her.
...
Feng Qitong didn’t immediately lift the veil.
Instead, he leaned closer to Tang Wan with a faintly amused smile and took a slow breath.
“So fragrant.”
Only then did he pick up the golden rod and lift Tang Wan’s bridal veil.
The moment he saw her appearance, a flash of amazement crossed Feng Qitong’s face.
Then, without hesitation, he removed the heavy phoenix crown from her head and tossed it aside, clearly preparing to pull her directly into his arms.
Seeing this, Tang Wan looked at him helplessly.
“Husband, I haven’t eaten anything all day yet. Are you really planning to start the wedding night immediately?”
“If I faint from hunger halfway through, don’t blame me for ruining your fun.”
Feng Qitong instantly caught the important point.
“So if you eat your fill first,” he asked meaningfully, “you’ll be able to satisfy this prince afterward?”
Tang Wan: “...”
Men really only had those thoughts in their heads.
Still, feeling her genuinely empty stomach, Tang Wan sighed inwardly before taking a small booklet out from beneath her pillow.
“Of course,” she replied calmly. “Once I’m full, Your Highness can try all the methods inside this book.”
Feng Qitong’s eyes immediately lit up.
He snatched the booklet from her hands and flipped through it excitedly while laughing softly.
“This prince knew it—you’re completely different from the virtuous image you pretend to show outside.”
“But I like this side of you much more. Honest and unpretentious.”
If Tang Wan had acted like some rigidly proper lady afterward, Feng Qitong would have found her unbearably dull.
Being straightforward about desires and thoughts was far more enjoyable.
Immediately afterward, Feng Qitong called toward the door:
“Someone! Prepare food for the Crown Princess immediately. Quickly!”
“Yes, Your Highness!” the maids outside answered hurriedly.
