Chapter 560:The Lonely Top Student 23

When Jiao Tong said the words “my girlfriend,” his mood lifted slightly, and the corners of his lips curved up without him noticing.

Tang Wan’s eyes lit up.

Then she put on a shy expression and said, “Well… since Tongtong doesn’t mind, I’ll shamelessly join you.”

Jiao’s mother immediately laughed. “Since you’re his girlfriend, what’s wrong with eating together?”

Tang Wan nodded lightly, lowering her head like a bashful young girl.

Then she followed them downstairs toward the parking lot.

After getting into the Jiao family’s Mercedes-Benz, Tang Wan and Jiao Tong sat in the back seat, while Jiao’s mother drove and the “Third Uncle” sat in the passenger seat.

Jiao’s mother smiled and said, “Chunchun, you two can chat. Don’t worry about me and your third uncle.”

Jiao Tong looked impatient. “What’s there to talk about?”

Tang Wan spoke softly, “Auntie, Tongtong doesn’t talk much anyway. By the way… why do you call him ‘Chunchun’?”

Jiao’s mother almost slipped on the steering wheel before quickly smiling. “Oh, that’s just his nickname. I’m used to it.”

Jiao Tong gave a faint snort.

“I see…” Tang Wan smiled mischievously. “Then should I call you Chunchun too?”

Jiao Tong’s face darkened. “Try it.”

Tang Wan immediately stopped teasing. “Fine, I won’t! Why are you so fierce?”

Jiao’s mother and the third uncle both chuckled softly.

Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of a five-star hotel.

On the way, Jiao’s mother had been secretly observing Tang Wan.

Seeing her remain calm and composed—without any curiosity or nervousness—she nodded inwardly.

Definitely from a good family.

Not like those girls who had never seen the world and would start taking selfies the moment they stepped into a fancy hotel.

Soon, they entered a private room already reserved.

Father Jiao was waiting inside.

When he saw them, he greeted the third uncle first, then looked at Tang Wan with curiosity. “This is…?”

Jiao’s mother beamed. “This is our Chunchun’s girlfriend—a very blessed girl!”

Father Jiao’s eyes lit up immediately.

Parents always felt differently about sons and daughters.

When a son brought home a girlfriend, no matter who she was, parents were usually pleased.

After all—their son was finally “harvesting someone else’s cabbage.”

He quickly smiled warmly at Tang Wan. “So you’re Chunchun’s girlfriend? What’s your name? Come, sit down.”

“Hello, Uncle. My name is Tang Wan,” she replied gracefully.

“Xiao Tang! Good, good—sit, sit!”

“Thank you, Uncle,” Tang Wan said with a sweet smile.

After the meal, both Jiao’s father and mother became even more satisfied with her.

Her table manners were elegant, almost instinctive—clearly shaped by upbringing.

They were experienced people; they could tell at a glance that such temperament didn’t come from an ordinary background.

Without even asking, they were already certain—

The Tang family was more than worthy of theirs.
