Chapter 538:The Lonely Top Student 1
When she returned to the pure white system space, Tang Wan still looked dazed and shaken.
Only after a long
while did she calm down. She stared at Little Cutie and said through gritted
teeth, “Little Cutie… you did that on purpose, didn’t you? You saw the shark
coming a long time ago, right?”
Dying in strange ways
wasn’t new.
But getting eaten by a
shark in the middle of the ocean?
That was a first.
Seeing her terrifying
expression, Little Cutie immediately put on an innocent face. “Host, that’s an
unfair accusation! How would I know you’d be that unlucky? Besides, you
were the one who insisted on staying in the sea kissing the villain! With your
perception, how could you not notice the shark?”
Tang Wan sneered. “So
now it’s my fault?”
Little Cutie wanted to
nod.
But didn’t dare.
“Don’t be angry, Host!
Think about it—didn’t you choose to stay in that world? At least you didn’t
spend those 50 points first! If you had spent them and still got eaten
by a shark, wouldn’t that be worse?”
“Oh? So I should thank
you for not warning me?” Tang Wan asked coldly.
“If the host insists
on thanking me, I can reluctantly accept it—as long as you call me—”
He swallowed the rest
of his sentence under her narrowed gaze.
…Yeah, not worth
dying for.
Sigh. My host is
getting scarier by the day.
Tang Wan took a deep
breath.
“Send me to the next
world.”
“Got it!” Little Cutie
quickly processed everything—emotion suppression, point allocation, and
transfer.
This time, Tang Wan
didn’t even bother with a draw.
She entered the next
world directly.
When she opened her
eyes, she found herself in a school restroom.
Several girls in
uniforms stood nearby. The moment they saw her, their faces turned pale—some
backed into corners, others rushed toward the door as if escaping a monster.
Tang Wan frowned.
Ignoring them, she
walked toward a stall while receiving the new world’s plot.
But as she casually
pulled open the cubicle door—
Crack.
The thin wooden door
came off in her hand.
Tang Wan: ???
“I barely used any
force…”
Is the construction
just that bad?
The other girls’
expressions changed drastically.
“Run! She’s
terrifying!”
They shoved each other
and fled the restroom in panic.
At the same time, Tang
Wan finished receiving the plot.
Then her expression
darkened.
In addition to her
usual “matchmaking physique,” she now had—
A
disaster-attracting physique.
Her forehead twitched.
Without thinking, she
tossed the broken door aside.
Crash—!
The entire row of
cubicles collapsed like dominoes.
Little Cutie: …
“…Host,
congratulations. You are now officially the King of Destruction.”
Tang Wan’s face turned
even darker.
Seeing this, Little
Cutie quickly tried to smooth things over. “Stay calm! This isn’t your fault!
You didn’t mean it!”
“Shut up,” Tang Wan
snapped.
This world… is
absolutely targeting me.
✦ Translator's Note — A Small Schedule Change!
Okay, I think I've finally figured out at least part of the Blogger problem. 😂
Apparently, trying to update two novels at the same time, especially when I'm trying to finish an entire arc, is probably not the best idea. I kept running into Blogger's mysterious “Nope, you've posted enough. Go away.” phase, and Saturday was unfortunately another casualty of that. 😭
So I've decided to change things up a little!
I've realized that I actually really prefer finishing an arc in one go rather than splitting it up. If you're someone who likes reading continuously, getting halfway through an arc and then having to wait for the rest is honestly kind of painful. 😂 I was considering doing something like 20 chapters from each novel on the same day, but I think I'd rather just focus on one novel at a time and post as much of the current arc as I can.
So, for now, the upload schedule will be:
Villain Husband, Please Let Go: Monday · Wednesday · Friday
Transmigrated Cannon Fodder, Please Calm Down: Tuesday · Thursday · Saturday
Sunday: Bonus/flexible day — whichever novel I'm in the mood to unleash that day. 😂
This also feels like it might be more manageable in the long run. If I get busier later, having one novel assigned to each day means I can still keep both translations moving without feeling like I have to somehow update everything at once.
And honestly... I just really love these two novels. 🥹
I especially want to share them because I want to see your reactions! I want people to fangirl over our queenly OP MCs with me, scream at the characters, celebrate the face-slapping, get emotionally destroyed by the angst, and generally suffer through these stories together. 😂
So please do tell me what you think when you're reading! I genuinely want to hear your reactions, whether it's a “OMG I LOVE HER”, a “WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME”, or just a very concerned “Tang Guo, what are you planning now?” (I swear, I feel like I'm becoming more and more like our "stupid" system😭)
Hopefully this new schedule will keep Blogger happy and let me keep throwing chapters at you without getting locked out again.
Let's hope this works. 😂
Now, back to the story!
