Chapter 534:#007 the Killer King 34

“Ah! It hurts!”

“Tong Tong! I’m scared!”

“Tong Tong, save me—save me!”

On the experimental platform, Tang Wan looked toward the direction Hei Tong had left, her face pale and twisted in apparent agony.

In reality, she felt nothing.

Her performance was entirely acting.

But right now… Tong Tong should be feeling heartbroken.

Hehe…

And just as she expected, Hei Tong’s footsteps froze as if nailed to the ground.

He couldn’t move another step.

Thinking about how she was supposedly enduring pain more than ten times that of an ordinary person, his calm expression finally shattered.

“Wanwan…”

His fists clenched as he looked at her “painful” face.

The next moment, he couldn’t hold back anymore and rushed back into the lab.

“Stop! Can’t you see she’s in pain?” Hei Tong shouted as he ran toward her.

Dr. Kara looked at him in surprise.

Dr. Tang, however, darkened instantly, her gaze locking onto him. “Hei Tong, do you know what you’re saying?”

Hei Tong’s hands tightened.

Dr. Kara and Dr. Ha didn’t know—but he did.

Dr. Tang’s true identity…

“Doctor… I can’t watch her become your experiment,” he said hoarsely.

If he allowed this, what right would he have to like her?

Dr. Tang let out a cold laugh.

“It seems you’ve forgotten—she is an experimental product. Hei Tong, you are no longer fit to manage Jinkela.”

As she spoke, she took out her phone and issued an order. “Immediately revoke all of Hei Tong’s authority within Jinkela—”

Before she could finish, Hei Tong had already raised his gun and pointed it at her head.

“Leader… don’t force me.”

A flicker of shock finally crossed Dr. Tang’s face.

At the same time, Dr. Kara stared in disbelief. “What? Dr. Tang is the leader of Jinkela?!”

He had wondered for years who the true leader was.

He never imagined—

It had been her all along.

“Hei Tong, you intend to betray me?” Dr. Tang said coldly. “Have you forgotten who picked you up off the streets like a stray dog and raised you to this point?”

Hei Tong pressed his lips together.

“I remember your kindness,” he said quietly. “But everything I’ve done for you over the years is enough to repay it… isn’t it?”

Now, he only wanted to protect the woman he loved.

Even if it meant betraying everything.

A sneer appeared on Dr. Tang’s lips.

“Repay it? You think it’s that simple? Jinkela never leaves traitors alive.”

As she spoke, she pressed a mechanism on her phone.

In an instant, it transformed into a concealed weapon—several fine needles shot toward Hei Tong.

They were too close.

He had no time to react.

“Tong Tong, run!” Tang Wan shouted.

But it was too late.

Two needles loaded with high-concentration anesthetic pierced the back of his hand.

Within seconds, his consciousness began to fade.

Dr. Tang sneered, then kicked his collapsing body aside.

Under the shocked gazes of Dr. Kara and Dr. Ha, she said coldly:

“Bring in Dr. Zhou. Wipe his memory.”
