Chapter 529:#007 the Killer King 29

Hearing Dr. Kara’s words, Tang Wan nodded obediently, pretending not to understand anything. “Okay.”

Seeing that she was still as compliant as ever, Dr. Kara relaxed. He instructed his assistant Ella to draw a large tube of blood, and also collected samples of her hair and nails.

After everything was done, Dr. Kara said gently, “Alright, go rest for now.”

“Mm.” Tang Wan nodded.

After taking Tang Wan’s genetic samples, Dr. Kara immediately headed to the lab with Dr. Ha.

Under both pressure and temptation, Dr. Ha had already agreed to join the Jinkela organization.

Once they began analyzing the samples, Dr. Ha quickly discovered something unusual—Tang Wan’s genetic structure was completely different from the others.

“Oh my God… this is incredible!” he exclaimed. “She really is a superhuman!”

Then he asked, “Which two genetic sequences were used to create her? Have you tried replicating the experiment?”

Dr. Kara shook his head. “Each experimental subject was given ten sets of genetic combinations. Only Tang Wan succeeded. The other nine all failed.”

“I see…” Dr. Ha sighed lightly.

But soon, his eyes lit up again. “It doesn’t matter. Since Tang Wan is already a successful case, we can just use her as the base and replicate her.”

Dr. Kara hesitated. “But if we do that… Tang Wan would have to be dissected.”

He had personally overseen her development and taught her after she was created. With her intelligence and growth, treating her as a specimen… he couldn’t quite accept it.

Dr. Ha, however, showed no hesitation.

“This is a necessary sacrifice. She’ll understand,” he said flatly.

Thinking back to how she had knocked out that blond man with a single punch, he grew even more eager to study her.

After a moment, Dr. Kara finally nodded. “You’re right.”

Meanwhile, Tang Wan had returned to her private lounge.

After losing a large amount of blood, she lay on the sofa, quickly replenishing her energy with food. Once she felt better, she got up, intending to go find Hei Tong.

But when she tried to swipe her card to leave, she was stopped.

Tang Wan narrowed her eyes slightly.

Oh? So this is how it is…

Still, she didn’t show any suspicion. Instead, she asked innocently, “Why can’t I use my card?”

One of the staff quickly replied, “Wanwan, Dr. Kara said you’re not allowed to leave for the next few days.”

“Why?” Tang Wan asked, looking confused.

“We don’t know.”

“Okay then…” Tang Wan nodded and returned to her lounge.

When Dr. Kara and Dr. Ha came out, she immediately approached them.

“Doctor, they said I’m not allowed to leave. Why? I want to go find Tong Tong!”

Dr. Kara replied gently, “Because we have a very important experiment coming up that requires your participation. You need to rest well so you’ll have enough energy. Also…” he added, “Hei Tong is not someone you should get too close to. Do you understand? Keep your distance from him in the future.”

“No! Tong Tong is a good person!” Tang Wan said immediately.

Dr. Kara shook his head. “You’ll understand eventually. He’s a demon who kills without blinking. Now go back and rest. We’ll begin the experiment in a few days.”

“Okay…” Tang Wan nodded, deliberately looking disappointed.
