Chapter 512:#007 the Killer King 12
Tang Wan nodded in a daze. “Oh.”
Then she touched her
stomach and looked at him innocently. “But I’m hungry now.”
Although artificial
humans had far superior physical abilities compared to ordinary people, they
also consumed energy much faster. Back in the laboratory, she had to eat at
least five meals a day. Whenever experiments were ongoing, she barely stopped
eating at all—only then could she keep up with the mental strain.
Since coming here, she
had only drunk a bit of cheese cream soup in the morning. Until now, she hadn’t
eaten anything else. She was already starving.
Hearing this, Hei Tong
said, “There’s food downstairs. Come on.”
“Oh.” Tang Wan nodded
and followed him downstairs.
As soon as she
appeared, Leah, Skinny Monkey, and the others turned their gaze toward her like
searchlights.
It was their first
time seeing someone get drunk from eating cheese—they were already impressed.
But what shocked them
even more came next.
After sitting down,
Tang Wan started eating.
Within five minutes,
she had already consumed enough food for two grown adults.
And yet, she still
didn’t look full. She simply continued eating.
The assassins at the
table exchanged glances.
Is her stomach a
bottomless pit? How can she eat this much?
Hei Tong wasn’t
surprised. The information provided by Dr. Kara had already stated that Tang
Wan had an abnormally high food intake.
He glanced at the
person in charge of cooking and gestured for more food.
The cook quickly
understood and soon brought over another large portion.
After sweeping
everything clean, Tang Wan finally felt somewhat full.
Being able to eat
without gaining weight… that’s a dream ability for so many girls. But for me,
it’s just suffering, she
thought helplessly.
Hei Tong looked at
her. “Full?”
Tang Wan nodded. “Mm.”
“Then we start
training. Come with me.”
With that, he stood up
and walked toward the corridor beside the living room.
Tang Wan immediately
got up to follow. The other assassins trailed behind as well, curiosity written
all over their faces.
I wonder if this
newcomer has any other skills besides eating…
Soon, Tang Wan was
brought to a spacious indoor shooting range.
Various weapons were
arranged along one wall and laid out neatly on tables.
Hei Tong picked up a
weapon and handed it to her. As he disassembled it, he explained, “This is—”
After taking it apart,
he swiftly reassembled it with practiced movements.
“Understood?” he
asked, looking at Tang Wan.
Tang Wan didn’t
respond. She simply followed what he had just done, taking the weapon apart and
putting it back together.
Her movements were
even faster than Hei Tong’s.
Seeing this, Skinny
Monkey couldn’t help but exclaim, “Damn! That’s insane! Have you used this
before, Tang Wan?”
Tang Wan looked at him
blankly. “No.”
“No way! You’re this
skilled on your first try?!”
“No wonder the boss is
training you personally!”
At that moment, Hei
Tong cast a cold glance at the others, instantly silencing them.
Then he raised his gun
and fired at a distant target.
Afterward, he looked
at Tang Wan. “Aim for the heart. Shoot.”
Tang Wan gave a small
“oh,” raised her hand casually, and fired at the red center of a target.
Bang!
With a crisp sound,
the shot landed squarely in the tenth ring.
Skinny Monkey and the
others were left staring, jaws practically hitting the floor.
Is she really a
newcomer?
