Chapter 503:#007 the Killer King 3
After staying in the laboratory for a year, and once it was confirmed that Tang Wan posed no threat and was capable of taking on part of the organization’s research, she was finally allowed to participate in some of Jin Kela’s projects.
To wait for Hei Tong’s
appearance, Tang Wan naturally chose to stay.
Fortunately, Jin Kela
was not only focused on the Immortality Serum—it was also a massive
pharmaceutical organization researching various other drugs. Some of them were
even beneficial to humanity.
So when Tang Wan
worked on these projects, she was genuinely serious.
…
Half a year later—
the villain finally
appeared.
“Ding! Target
detected—Hei Tong is currently in the top-floor office speaking with the
project director!” Little Cutie reported.
Tang Wan’s eyes
flickered slightly.
Then she calmly put
down her work and turned to her assistant.
“Ella, I want to go
out for some air.”
After over a year of
monitoring and testing, she had gained enough trust to move freely within the
island above the research base, just like the other researchers.
“Alright. Be back
soon,” Ella replied.
“I’ll be back in
twenty minutes,” Tang Wan nodded.
Knowing how precise
she was with time, the assistant didn’t worry.
After passing
fingerprint and iris verification, Tang Wan entered the elevator.
…
When she stepped out—
Hei Tong was just
leaving the director’s office.
He had long silver
hair, faint golden pupils, and sharply defined features. His expression was
cold, almost emotionless, and a dark, oppressive aura surrounded him.
His gaze lingered on
Tang Wan for a brief second—
then he slipped his
hands into his coat pockets and walked past her, long strides carrying him down
the corridor.
Tang Wan’s lips curved
slightly.
Then she stepped
forward and blocked his path.
“Who are you? Are you
new here? I haven’t seen you before.”
She tilted her head,
her expression curious and innocent.
Hei Tong stopped.
His eyes turned icy.
For a moment, it felt
like he might draw his gun and kill her without hesitation.
The project director
hurriedly explained,
“Apologies—she’s our data genius. She has no emotional system, but she’s
curious. She asks about anything unfamiliar.”
Hei Tong gave a faint
nod.
He was about to leave—
when Tang Wan suddenly
grabbed his hand.
In an instant—
a gun was drawn.
The cold muzzle
pressed directly against her forehead.
“Let go.”
His voice was low and
chilling.
…
Inside, Little Cutie
burst out laughing.
“Host—did your
‘husband’ just reject you on the spot? This is too funny!”
Tang Wan silently
added that to his future punishment list.
Then she looked at Hei
Tong again, completely unbothered by the gun at her head.
“I like you. What’s
your name?”
“They all call me
Wanwan. You can call me that too.”
The moment she said
it—
the director froze in
shock.
“Wanwan… what did you
just say? You… like him?”
Tang Wan blinked,
expression pure.
“Yes. Is there a
problem?”
The director
immediately pulled out his phone, voice trembling with excitement.
“Doctor! 007 has
developed an emotional system! She just told Mr. Hei Tong she likes him!”
