Chapter 501:#007 the Killer King 1

After hearing that, Tang Wan immediately lifted her chin proudly.

“Maybe I really am!”

But a trace of doubt still flickered in her mind—since when did her luck become this outrageous?

Still… whatever.

She had already drawn it. That meant it was hers.

“Alright, let’s go. Next world.”

She refused to believe every world would end with her getting killed instantly before she could even speak.

“Got it, host—starting transfer now!”

“Ding… transfer successful!”

When Tang Wan opened her eyes again, she found herself sealed inside a transparent nutrient chamber. A tube was inserted into her mouth, and faint liquid flowed past her lips.

Through the glass, she saw a lab-like environment—people in white coats moving quickly, operating instruments, recording data.

Cold. Clinical.

The moment she opened her eyes, a bearded man nearby froze—then burst into excitement.

“007 is awake! Check her body data immediately!”

“Yes!”

An assistant rushed to a nearby screen and began scanning her vitals.

Tang Wan didn’t react outwardly. Instead, she spoke inwardly:

“Plot. Now.”

“Transmitting… please wait.”

“Ding! Plot transmission complete.”

Before they released her from the chamber, Tang Wan quickly absorbed everything.

Then—

she went silent for a moment.

“…So now I’m not even human?”

This body was an artificial human.

A product.

A weapon.

She had been created through advanced genetic engineering—a perfect fusion of selected genes. Because the woman who provided the egg was Dr. Tang, she inherited the surname “Tang” and was assigned the designation: 007.

From birth, she had been extraordinary.

IQ: 250.
Vision and hearing: twenty times that of a normal human.
Reaction speed: ten times faster.

To the lab, she wasn’t a person.

She was a “super brain.”

A tool cultivated for one purpose—to solve the organization’s greatest obsession:

The so-called Immortality Serum.

The serum originated from a virus that slowed cellular aging. The first two scientists who discovered it had injected themselves—and were still alive at 150 years old.

But the price?

Their bodies had completely collapsed.

Kidney failure. Bedridden. Living corpses.

The organization—Jin Kela—had spent years trying to perfect it. Even now, their “seventh-generation” version was unstable.

And so…

they pinned all their hopes on her.

On Tang Wan.

And she had delivered.

At first.

Until she met the male lead—Zhou Haoran.

A famous detective.

He had been investigating Jin Kela and ended up severely injured. By chance, he crossed paths with her.

Seeing her importance, he pretended to get close to her.

And Tang Wan—despite her terrifying intelligence—had the emotional maturity of a small child.

She trusted him.

Was used by him.

And ultimately—

helped him destroy the organization’s base.

For that, she was branded a traitor.

Thrown into a killer training camp.

Reduced from “genius asset” to “disposable tool.”

A place where killers vented their violence.

A living experiment turned into prey.

Tang Wan’s expression grew colder as she finished processing the memories.

“And the villain?”

Little Cutie answered immediately:

“The second-in-command of the organization. Dr. Tang’s loyal subordinate. The future Killer King.”

“He gets injured during a mission, is saved by the female lead—a doctor named Liu Ye—and falls for her.”

Tang Wan let out a soft, almost amused breath.

“So…”

“Used by the male lead. Destroyed by the organization. And the villain belongs to the female lead.”

She flexed her fingers slightly inside the nutrient chamber.

The liquid rippled.

Her eyes sharpened.

“…Got it.”

This world—

wasn’t going to play out the same way.

  1. Honestly I hope she does interesting things with her 250 iq in this arc. So far I can’t even tell that the drop from earlier had any effect. I know it works slowly, but… still. Either way, thanks for bringing this story to us!

    1. HAHAHA I get where you're coming from ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚ Especially with the brain development serum—you'd think with something that OP, she'd be putting it to much more use! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

She does end up getting some very specific cheats that help her along the way in every arc๐Ÿ‘€ but aren't we all here for the dog food. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™ˆ

But yes, I completely understand the frustration with the 250 IQ not feeling as impactful as you'd expect. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

And thank you for reading!! I'm glad you're enjoying the novel enough to stick around๐Ÿ™ˆ
