Chapter 461: The Pure-Clad Dark Heir 11

At that moment, Tang Wan suddenly glanced toward the bed.

Seeing Jiang Yuantong awake, she said, “You’re up? Are you hungry? Come eat something.”

Jiang Yuantong’s eyes flickered, and he immediately put on a dazed expression. “Mm.”

He got out of bed and walked over, still dressed loosely, his chest partly exposed.

As he lowered his gaze, he caught sight of Tang Wan’s neckline and quickly looked away, sitting down stiffly.

“Madam…” he said softly.

“What is it?” Tang Wan took a sip of tea.

“We didn’t drink the wedding wine yet,” Jiang Yuantong said, pretending innocence.

Tang Wan paused.

Wedding wine?

That wasn’t happening.

If she drank, she’d be in no state to deal with him.

“No need. We’ve already gone through the important parts,” she said calmly. “Besides, you’re too young to drink. If you’re thirsty, just have water.”

She poured him a cup and pushed the snacks toward him.

Jiang Yuantong took the cup, his thoughts shifting.

This Tang family’s legitimate daughter… was far bolder than expected.

No trace of shyness at all.

He sipped the water, then pushed the snacks back slightly, pouting. “I don’t want these.”

Tang Wan raised an eyebrow. “Then what do you want?”

Jiang Yuantong looked at her and said seriously, “I want what Grandfather mentioned.”

Tang Wan: …

She already had a bad feeling.

“Grandfather said… it’s something soft and sweet,” he continued, sounding completely earnest.

Tang Wan nearly choked on her tea.

That old man…

What exactly had he been teaching him?!

She coughed lightly, then glared at Jiang Yuantong. “Don’t talk nonsense. Eat properly.”

Seeing her reaction, Jiang Yuantong lowered his head slightly, but a faint trace of amusement flickered in his eyes.

Then he quickly returned to his innocent expression. “But Grandfather said—”

“Enough!” Tang Wan cut him off.

Jiang Yuantong immediately looked aggrieved. “You’re being fierce again. I’m going to tell Grandfather.”

He stood up as if to leave.

Tang Wan: …

She took a deep breath.

“Come back,” she said through clenched teeth.

Jiang Yuantong paused.

“I’ll explain it to you later. Properly,” she added.

Only then did he return and sit down again, satisfied.

After eating, the two went back to bed.

“Madam…” Jiang Yuantong looked at her again.

Tang Wan shot him a warning look, then turned her back to him. “Go to sleep.”

“Okay,” he replied obediently.

He lay down beside her, watching her quietly for a moment before closing his eyes.

The room gradually fell silent once more.

Only the candlelight flickered gently, casting shifting shadows across the walls.
