Chapter 40: Diablo 37

“It feels amazing eating like this!” Tang Wan took another gulp of beer.

Seeing this, Tang Yitong reminded her, “Don’t drink too much.”

“How is this too much? Back then... I... hic... I could finish eight bottles in one go without getting drunk!” Tang Wan declared proudly.

At first, Tang Yitong didn’t suspect anything was wrong. With Tang Wan’s rebellious personality, secretly drinking beer wasn’t unusual at all.

But he quickly realized something was off.

Because Tang Wan suddenly stared at him, then pointed at the barbecue in front of him and demanded, “Tongtong, feed me!”

Hearing this, Tang Yitong’s body trembled slightly as he stared fixedly at her.

At this moment, Tang Wan’s cheeks were flushed red, her lips rosy and slightly swollen, and her eyes hazy with intoxication.

Seeing her like this, Tang Yitong immediately reacted. “Are you drunk?”

“I’m not drunk! Are you feeding me or not? Aren’t you my good husband?” Tang Wan asked aggrievedly.

After hearing her words, Little Cutie hurriedly shouted, “Host! Wake up! He’ll get suspicious if you keep talking like that!”

But Tang Wan was completely muddled and couldn’t sober up at all.

Tang Yitong didn’t suspect anything. Instead, as he looked at Tang Wan’s appearance, the emotions in his eyes became more and more obvious.

He stood up and sat beside Tang Wan, staring at her intensely.

“What did you just say?” he asked softly.

“W-what did I say?” Tang Wan hiccupped again.

Seeing this, Tang Yitong stopped asking. Instead, he picked up a skewer and held it near Tang Wan’s mouth, coaxing her softly, “Call me husband, and I’ll feed you.”

Tang Wan blinked at him for a moment before acting spoiled. “Husband... feed me!”

God.

She was way too cute.

After hearing that, Tang Yitong could no longer suppress the huge smile on his face.

Fine. He’d give her everything.

He wished he could hand over his entire heart to her.

Then he brought the barbecue to her mouth and fed her a bite.

When Tang Wan wanted another bite, Tang Yitong suppressed his racing heartbeat and pointed at his lips. “Give me a kiss, and I’ll feed you more.”

As a result, Tang Wan immediately lunged at him and kissed him recklessly.

The kiss carried the flavors of barbecue and beer—messy, clumsy, and straightforward.

But to Tang Yitong, it was indescribably wonderful.

“Ding! Tang Yitong’s favorability +3. Current favorability: 99!” the system announced.

But Tang Wan didn’t hear it at all.

At that moment, she was tightly wrapped in Tang Yitong’s arms, being kissed deeply, until she finally fell asleep from exhaustion.

Even after she had fallen asleep, Tang Yitong still didn’t let her go immediately. He kissed her forehead all the way down to her collarbone before reluctantly carrying her back to the bedroom.

After arriving in the bedroom, Tang Yitong didn’t leave right away. Instead, he lifted the blanket and lay beside Tang Wan while holding her.

He only left at dawn.

The next morning.

The moment Tang Wan woke up, Little Cutie exploded.

“Host! You’re forbidden from drinking in the future! Do you know how stupid you become when you’re drunk? Do you know what you did last night?!”

“Wait, what are you talking about? I got drunk?” Tang Wan immediately denied it. “Impossible! I can finish eight bottles without getting drunk!”

Although that was probably an exaggeration, there was no way she could get drunk from half a can of beer, okay?

Seeing that she was still acting stubborn, Little Cutie angrily pulled up the evidence from last night.

“Look at this! Congratulations, your first kiss is gone!”

“Nani?!” Tang Wan instantly sat upright in bed.

Then she saw the footage of herself drunkenly being coaxed around by Tang Yitong and even taking the initiative to kiss him.

Little Cutie was about to continue lecturing her when Tang Wan suddenly revealed a gossip-loving expression.

“As expected of Tongtong! Nicely done!”
