Chapter 368: The Gynophobe Crown Prince 18
Hearing Lin Cong’s words, Tang Wan’s heart stirred.
She then stepped forward and looked at the buzz-cut boy leading the group.
“You want to take our private room?” Tang Wan asked.
The buzz-cut boy looked at her arrogantly and nodded.
“So what if we do? Here’s ten thousand star coins. If you know what’s good for you, get lost. This private room belongs to us from the Mecha Department!”
Aside from the high mental strength that was a prerequisite for entering the Mecha Department, the biggest characteristic of its students was that they generally came from wealthy families.
After all, mechas were an extremely expensive hobby. Ordinary families simply couldn’t afford to play around with them.
Hearing this, the students from the Combat Command Department immediately became furious.
Tang Wan, however, smiled slightly at them, signaling for everyone not to get angry.
Then she looked at the buzz-cut boy.
“Ten thousand star coins? Are you trying to give us alms?”
With that, she pulled Zhou Zitong forward.
“Do you know who the Crown Prince is? With him here, do you really think we’d be short of a mere ten thousand star coins?”
Zhou Zitong didn’t say anything. He simply swept a cold glance over the buzz-cut boy and the others.
……
When the buzz-cut boy saw Zhou Zitong, he hesitated.
Although the imperial family was currently in decline, Zhou Zitong was still the Crown Prince. Publicly offending the Crown Prince wasn’t exactly a wise thing to do.
But leaving just like that would be too embarrassing.
At this moment, someone from the Mecha Department suddenly shouted, “So what if he’s the Crown Prince? We’re taking this private room today no matter what!”
“That’s right!” the others immediately chimed in.
Aside from the Crown Prince, there weren’t many students in the Combat Command Department with particularly impressive family backgrounds. What did they have to be afraid of?
Hearing his classmates, the buzz-cut boy straightened his back as well.
“That’s right! I’m taking this private room today, no matter what.”
“You want this private room? That’s not impossible,” Tang Wan said, her eyes turning slightly.
“Wanwan!” Lin Cong and the others immediately looked at her.
Tang Wan raised a hand toward them, signaling for them to stay calm, then continued.
“But a mere ten thousand star coins isn’t enough to make us back down. Isn’t that looking down on us a little too much?”
“Then what do you want?” the buzz-cut boy asked disdainfully.
Tang Wan spread the five fingers of her left hand.
“As the saying goes, a problem that can be solved with money isn’t a problem. If it can’t be solved, then it only means you haven’t thrown enough money at it.”
“Five million star coins. Give us that, and we’ll leave immediately. If you don’t… our Combat Command Department isn’t easy to bully either. A gentleman can wait ten years to avenge himself. Even if we can’t do anything to you right now, once you graduate and enter the military…”
Tang Wan smiled sweetly.
“Heh. We’ll have plenty of ways to make things difficult for you!”
As soon as she said this, the expressions of the Mecha Department students stiffened.
Although the Combat Command Department’s combat ability was inferior to that of the Mecha Department, once an actual war began, they were the ones who controlled the strategy and deployment from the rear. The soldiers on the front lines would all have to follow the commanders’ orders.
……
“You’re threatening us?” the buzz-cut boy asked grimly.
“You can see it that way. Our limbs may not be as well-developed as yours, but when it comes to memory, our brains are much better than yours.”
As she spoke, her gaze swept over the faces of everyone from the Mecha Department one by one, as though committing each of their appearances to memory.
Seeing this, the expressions of the Mecha Department students became even uglier.
The buzz-cut boy clenched both fists.
After a long moment, he gritted his teeth and said, “We’re leaving!”
“Class monitor!” the others shouted unwillingly.
“Leave!” the buzz-cut boy said again.
Before leaving, he gave Tang Wan a dark look.
“Kid, you’d better pray you never fall into my hands!”
“Likewise.” Tang Wan smiled brightly and waved at him.
