Chapter 226: The Abstinent Gigolo 26
The moment Yun Zhe saw the bloody words on the mirror, he was terrified stiff.
For seven or eight
full seconds, his entire body froze in place.
Then—
“AHHHHHH—!”
A miserable scream
instantly tore through the quiet hospital ward.
The next second, Yun
Zhe turned and bolted out of the bathroom in complete panic.
…
His scream immediately
jolted Zhou Xiaoxiao awake.
At the same time, even
the nurses on night duty heard the commotion.
“A-Zhe! What
happened?” Zhou Xiaoxiao sat upright in bed in shock.
Before she could react
further, Yun Zhe rushed over frantically and hugged her tightly, completely
forgetting his injured arm.
“G-Ghost… there’s a
ghost!” Yun Zhe stammered, trembling violently.
Hearing this, Zhou
Xiaoxiao froze.
“A ghost? What ghost?”
she asked suspiciously. “A-Zhe, did you have a nightmare?”
“No!” Yun Zhe shook
his head desperately. “I’m not dreaming! There are words written on the
bathroom mirror!”
As he spoke, he
crouched beside the bed in terror.
At this moment, in his
eyes, the entire hospital ward had already transformed into a horrifying
hellscape.
There was even a
hanged ghost nearby, sticking out its tongue and grinning at him.
But from Zhou
Xiaoxiao’s perspective, the ward looked completely normal.
Nothing had changed at
all.
Just as Zhou Xiaoxiao
was about to get out of bed and check the bathroom herself—
Yun Zhe suddenly let
out another horrified scream.
“AHHH!”
Because in his vision,
the female ghost’s long tongue had suddenly licked across his face.
Yun Zhe instantly felt
like his heart was about to stop beating.
Then—
a warm stream spread
uncontrollably through his lower body.
At that exact moment,
Zhou Xiaoxiao caught a strange smell in the air.
“???”
She looked down.
Then her entire face
darkened.
Holy crap.
Yun Zhe… you
actually got scared badly enough to pee yourself?!
…
Zhou Xiaoxiao
immediately pushed him away with a black expression.
“Are you
hallucinating?” she asked irritably. “How could there possibly be words in the
bathroom? I’ll go look myself!”
After saying that, she
prepared to get out of bed.
But Yun Zhe grabbed
her arm desperately.
“No! Xiaoxiao, don’t
leave me!” he cried shakily. “There’s a female ghost trying to strangle me with
her tongue!”
As he spoke, he
frantically gestured around his own neck.
Seeing this, Zhou
Xiaoxiao frowned slightly.
At that moment, two
nurses on duty rushed over.
“What happened?” one
of them called anxiously while knocking on the door. “Why were you screaming
just now?”
To Zhou Xiaoxiao, it
sounded like an ordinary knock.
But in Yun Zhe’s eyes—
it looked like two
terrifying ghosts violently slamming against the door, preparing to break in.
The moment Zhou
Xiaoxiao reached for the handle, Yun Zhe almost collapsed from fear.
“You can’t open it!”
he screamed tremblingly. “Xiaoxiao, they’re ghosts! The ghosts are coming in!”
Zhou Xiaoxiao stared
at him suspiciously.
“That’s obviously the
nurses,” she said slowly. “Did you secretly take something weird? Why are you
hallucinating like this?”
“I didn’t!” Yun Zhe
defended himself desperately. “I really saw ghosts!”
But Zhou Xiaoxiao
obviously didn’t believe in ghosts at all.
So she dragged Yun Zhe
toward the door and opened it directly.
…
The moment the nurses
entered and saw the chaos inside the room, both of them looked stunned.
“What happened here?”
“A-Zhe seems to have
been frightened somehow,” Zhou Xiaoxiao explained awkwardly. “He keeps
insisting there are ghosts in the room.”
Hearing this, the two
nurses exchanged helpless glances before looking toward Yun Zhe.
“This patient,” one
nurse said seriously, “we should all firmly believe in materialism. There’s no
such thing as ghosts in this world.”
However—
when those words
reached Yun Zhe’s ears—
they completely
changed.
What he heard instead
was:
“Trying to hide?”
“Give me back my life…”
“Go die…”
For a moment, Yun Zhe
became so terrified that his eyes rolled backward.
Then—
he fainted on the
spot.
