Chapter 218: The Abstinent Gigolo 18

At that moment, Xi Jingtong returned with her medical records in hand.

“How are you feeling?” he asked softly.

Tang Wan looked slightly embarrassed.

“It just hurts a lot. Thank you for today. If you hadn’t come back in time, I’d probably be miserable right now.”

“You’re welcome.” Xi Jingtong’s tone remained calm. “Just be more careful in the future.”

Then he looked at her again.

“Have you eaten lunch yet?”

Tang Wan shook her head. “Not yet. I was planning to eat after showering.”

“In that case, lie down and rest for a bit. I’ll go buy food for you.”

“Okay.” Tang Wan nodded obediently.

Ten minutes later, Xi Jingtong returned carrying a bag.

After opening the lunch box, he poured out a container of bone soup. Then, as naturally as if he’d done it countless times before, he picked up a spoon and brought it to Tang Wan’s lips.

Tang Wan paused slightly.

Then she blinked and obediently opened her mouth to drink the soup.

“You’ll need a hundred days to properly recover from a bone injury,” Xi Jingtong said while feeding her patiently. “Drink more bone soup during this time. It’ll help the healing process.”

“Mhm…” Tang Wan nodded.

Just then, Zhou Xiaoxiao’s irritated voice suddenly sounded from outside the ward.

“I already said I don’t want to stay hospitalized! Isn’t a cast enough?!”

“No!” Yun Zhe replied domineeringly. “What if something happens and your injury gets worse? I’ll only feel relieved if you stay in the hospital!”

Tang Wan frowned slightly.

Did these two think the hospital belonged to their family or something?

Seeing her expression darken, Xi Jingtong calmly put down the bowl.

“Wait here,” he said.

Then he strode toward the door and pulled it open.

Looking coldly at the arguing pair in the corridor, he said indifferently:

“Can’t you read the ‘No Noise’ signs?”

“And miss, where exactly is your public decency?”

The moment Zhou Xiaoxiao saw Xi Jingtong, her eyes widened instantly.

Then she raised her voice sharply.

“You still have the nerve to talk?! If it weren’t for you, would I have ended up like this?!”

At the same time, Yun Zhe glared at Xi Jingtong furiously.

“So you finally showed up! You broke Xiaoxiao’s arm, and now I’m going to break your ribs!”

The moment he finished speaking, he swung his fist toward Xi Jingtong.

Seeing this, Zhou Xiaoxiao not only didn’t stop him—she actually looked excited.

Yun Zhe had been fighting since middle school.

There was no way this pretty-faced guy could beat him.

Unfortunately…

Reality was cruel.

The instant Yun Zhe’s punch flew forward, Xi Jingtong merely tilted his head slightly while stepping back.

In the next second, both his hands locked onto Yun Zhe’s shoulders as he drove his knee sharply into Yun Zhe’s abdomen.

“Ugh!”

Yun Zhe let out a muffled groan, his face instantly turning pale.

Zhou Xiaoxiao stared blankly.

Wait.

This guy actually knew martial arts?!

Only after several seconds did she react and rush anxiously toward Yun Zhe, whose body had curled into a shrimp shape from the pain.

“A-Zhe! Are you okay?” she asked nervously.

“I-I’m fine!” Yun Zhe gritted out unwillingly. “I can still fight!”

Then he glared viciously at Xi Jingtong again.

After shoving Zhou Xiaoxiao aside, he charged forward once more.

Xi Jingtong caught his incoming fist expressionlessly and twisted his arm backward in one smooth movement.

“Since you insist on getting hurt,” he said coldly, “I’ll grant your wish.”

Crack!

“AHHH!”

Yun Zhe instantly let out a miserable scream as his right arm was dislocated on the spot.

Meanwhile, after watching the scene through Little Cutie’s live feed, Tang Wan looked thoroughly delighted.

Serves him right!

Who told him to deceive the original owner and drive her to death?

Still, she genuinely hadn’t expected Xi Jingtong’s combat ability to be this terrifying.

After all, Yun Zhe practiced Taekwondo.

At that moment, Little Cutie grinned proudly.

“Host, the villain was actually the national high school Sanda champion! Back then, even the national team wanted to recruit him, but he gave it up because he couldn’t leave his grandmother behind!”
