Chapter 21: Diablo 18

“If she wants to kill me, am I supposed to just stand there and let her?” Tang Yitong suddenly raised his dark eyes and stared directly at Zhao Xia.

Zhao Xia’s expression instantly changed.

Then she immediately shouted:

“What nonsense are you talking about? How could your sister possibly want to kill you?”

Tang Yitong smiled mockingly.

Thinking back to how Tang Wan used to force him to pay compensation for even the smallest things, he suddenly said:

“It’s not impossible for me to endure things. But if I get beaten and don’t even have money to go to the hospital, or if I starve because I can’t afford food, what then?”

As soon as those words came out, Tang Wansong finally realized that fifteen-year-old Tang Yitong was much shorter than boys his age.

His body was frighteningly thin, almost like a sheet of paper.

Even the clothes he wore were old and worn out.

For a moment, Tang Wansong couldn’t help feeling somewhat embarrassed.

Although he had never liked Tang Yitong very much and had long known Tang Wan bullied him, he truly hadn’t expected things to become this severe.

So he immediately said:

“Dad understands now. Tomorrow, Dad will prepare twenty thousand yuan for you. If it’s not enough, you can ask me for more.”

...

Tang Yitong lowered his eyes mockingly.

“Okay. Thank you, Dad. If there’s nothing else, I’ll go back to my room first.”

After speaking, he turned around with his head lowered and returned to the storage room.

As soon as he entered his room, the phone in his pocket vibrated.

After opening it, he saw it was a message from Tang Wan:

“Pack up the things you want to bring. Throw away anything worthless. We can buy new ones after moving.”

Seeing this message, a gentle and excited expression suddenly appeared on Tang Yitong’s face.

When he first heard Tang Wan was leaving the Tang family, he had actually been afraid she intended to abandon him there.

But he hadn’t expected that from the very beginning, she had already planned to take him along.

For the first time in his life, Tang Yitong experienced what it felt like to be remembered and cared about by someone.

After that, he quietly typed the word “Okay” and sent it back.

...

“Ding! Tang Yitong’s favorability has reached 70%! Host, you’re amazing!” Little Cutie exclaimed excitedly.

“In that case, shouldn’t you hurry up and call me father now?” Tang Wan teased with a laugh.

As soon as those words came out, Little Cutie immediately exploded in dissatisfaction.

“No! I’m the father!”

Was he the only one allowed to make people call him father!

Tang Wan silently curled her lips.

This little guy really was obsessed with the word “father.”

...

However, because of the move the next day, the plan to return to school had to be postponed.

Tang Wansong worked very efficiently. In just one morning, he had already found a fully furnished apartment near the school and arranged everything properly.

Tang Wan was extremely satisfied, but on the surface, she still wore an expression that looked annoyed and unwilling to admit it.

She glanced at Tang Wansong and the secretly smug Zhao Xia before suddenly pointing at the luggage and shouting at Tang Yitong:

“What are you standing around for? Don’t you know how to carry my luggage? Even after moving out, you still can’t learn to be more attentive!”

Tang Yitong immediately lowered his eyes obediently and silently stepped forward to pull her pink suitcase.

Seeing this, Tang Wan stomped her foot angrily before turning and walking out of the Tang family villa.

At that moment, the joy on Zhao Xia’s face was no longer concealed at all.

Unexpectedly, Tang Wan suddenly turned around and caught Zhao Xia’s expression completely.

“Dad! Don’t forget to transfer my living expenses on time every month! Actually, you might as well give it to me yearly instead! That way I won’t have to keep coming back every month to see people I don’t want to see!”

Hah!

With her abilities, was she, Tang Wan, really afraid of being unable to make money?

Still, starting from scratch was always difficult.

In that case, it was better to first retrieve the portion that originally belonged to her from Tang Wansong’s hands.

Tang Wan wasn’t stupid.

Even if she didn’t understand every detail of business management, as long as she had enough starting capital, she was fully capable of multiplying her wealth many times over.
