Chapter 16: Diablo 13

Tang Yitong pursed his lips and walked into Tang Wan’s room.

“Sit on the sofa,” Tang Wan said to him before turning and walking toward the original owner’s desk.

She remembered that the original owner changed phones frequently. Her old phones were usually tossed into drawers after she bought new ones every year.

Soon, Tang Wan found the drawer where the phones were stored. She took out a phone from last year and tossed it toward Tang Yitong.

“This phone is for you. From now on, I’ll use it to notify you when it’s time to eat, and then you’ll come eat with me. Understand?”

Hearing this, Tang Yitong nodded before hesitating slightly.

“But... I don’t have a phone card.”

“Then get one!” Tang Wan replied immediately.

After speaking, she suddenly remembered that Tang Yitong had basically no money at all. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have ended up so thin from hunger.

As for the aristocratic academy, it was only because Tang Wansong originally intended to cultivate Tang Yitong that he spent a large amount of money sending him there.

Later, even though Tang Wansong became disappointed in Tang Yitong, he still couldn’t afford to lose face publicly, so Tang Yitong continued attending the noble academy.

...

“I’ll help you get one later. There’s wireless internet at home anyway. You can register this app first and contact me through it,” Tang Wan said.

Then she sat down beside Tang Yitong and opened a penguin-logo messaging app before creating an account for him.

When it came time to fill in the nickname, Tang Wan immediately said:

“My nickname is Beautiful and Cute!”

Hearing this, Tang Yitong couldn’t help glancing at her.

Seeing this, Tang Wan immediately glared at him.

“What? Do you have a problem with that?”

“No,” Tang Yitong replied quickly.

“Hmph. At least you know what’s good for you.”

After saying that, she entered the nickname with a completely unquestionable attitude.

At that moment, Little Cutie suddenly popped out.

“Host, you’re amazing! You’ve already triggered the plot before I even told you about it!”

“What plot?” Tang Wan asked in confusion.

“In the original plot, Tang Yitong secretly learned many things after obtaining a smartphone and eventually became an expert in biology,” Little Cutie explained.

However, in the original story, the phone Tang Yitong used had originally been lost by one of the Tang family servants.

That phone became Tang Yitong’s window into the outside world and allowed him to learn all kinds of knowledge while living in the Tang family.

After hearing Little Cutie’s explanation, Tang Wan couldn’t help looking at Tang Yitong in surprise.

The next moment, her eyes landed on the laptop sitting on the desk.

“I remember I still have an extra SIM card from before. Let me look for it,” Tang Wan deliberately said.

Then she suddenly stood up and began rummaging through the cabinets.

Soon, she pulled out an old laptop before casually tossing it onto the bed with a look of disgust.

“Why is this old computer still here? Tang Yitong, help me throw it away when you go downstairs later! It’s just taking up space in the room!”

Hearing this, Tang Yitong froze.

A computer?

Back when he first entered the Tang family, Tang Wansong had also bought him one.

But before he could even touch it, Tang Wan smashed it apart in anger.

After that, the only time he ever got access to computers was during computer classes at school.

Compared to the students who had been exposed to all kinds of technology since childhood, his computer knowledge was practically nonexistent at the time, and because of that, he had been mocked for a long while.

But he never told anyone.

Later, he secretly read countless computer-related books in the library, and eventually his understanding of computers became no worse than anyone else’s.
