Chapter 157: Diabolical CV Big Shot 6
Over the next few days, Tang Wan resigned herself to her fate and began conducting voice acting training on herself according to the tutorials Little Cutie provided.
Even for the heavy panting tracks that gave her goosebumps all over, she practiced them with absolute dedication.
Seeing this, a gratified, fatherly smile couldn't help but spread across Little Cutie's face.
Host was working so hard!
It truly hadn't bound the wrong person!
…
Saturday arrived in the blink of an eye.
Early that morning, Tang Wan drove toward the Chuangxin Building that Yang Tong had mentioned.
At eight-thirty, she arrived at the foot of the building.
As luck would have it, Yang Tong happened to arrive at that exact moment as well.
He was wearing a khaki-colored casual suit today, holding a black folder under his arm, looking very much like a young academic scholar.
Catching sight of Tang Wan, he immediately stepped forward with long strides, offering a perfectly gentle, faint smile. "Morning, Tang Wan! You arrived quite early. Shall we go up together?"
Hearing his words, Tang Wan offered him a smile in return. "Good morning, Teacher Sheng Sheng Man."
Yang Tong nodded to her, asking if she had eaten breakfast as they walked forward together.
His tone was calm and gentle, his speaking rhythm unhurried. Coupled with his vocal range, which resonated as pleasantly as a cello, it was exceedingly easy for people to fall for his voice.
Listening to him speak, Tang Wan suddenly understood why voice lovers were so obsessed with vocal tones.
Conversing with the owner of such a voice was a feast for the ears and an intoxicating experience for oneself.
…
When they reached Room 909, several people inside were already practicing their readings.
Clearly, they were all Yang Tong's students.
Seeing Yang Tong, the students all hastily greeted him. The female students among them stared at him unblinkingly with blushing cheeks, their deep admiration for Yang Tong plain to see.
However, Yang Tong merely gave them a impartial, subtle nod before leading Tang Wan straight into his private office.
"Have a seat!"
Once inside the office, Yang Tong went over to pour Tang Wan a glass of water.
Tang Wan sat down as told, her eyes quickly sweeping around the room.
The interior decor was minimalist and cold in style, matching his disposition quite well.
Placing the water glass in front of Tang Wan, Yang Tong opened the folder and handed her a stack of A4 papers.
"These are the voice acting scripts I mentioned to you two days ago. You can take a look first to see if you're interested," Yang Tong said.
Tang Wan reached out to take the documents. After a rough skim, she got the general idea.
The scripts Yang Tong had found for her all specifically required a sweet, coy voice like hers; there was nothing wrong with the scripts themselves.
Some of them were even large-budget, serious productions.
Of course, there were plenty of flirtatious lines scattered throughout, but the scripts themselves remained solid and legitimate.
After reading through them, Tang Wan gave a soft, gentle smile. "If Teacher Sheng Sheng Man picked these scripts for me, of course there's no problem! I'm very interested in all of them."
…
Hearing Tang Wan's response, Yang Tong chuckled softly. "It's good as long as you're interested. You don't need to take Jingshui Liushen's words to heart. Everyone has their own unique voice. Although you aren't suited to play the female lead of Nightingale, only you are suited for roles like these. No one else can capture the exact feeling I'm looking for."
Tang Wan immediately put on an expression of touched surprise upon hearing this.
"Teacher Sheng Sheng Man, you are truly too kind!" Tang Wan lifted her gaze, looking at him with watery, glistening eyes.
Looking at her clear, limpid almond eyes, Yang Tong felt a sudden heat in his lower abdomen, yet his expression on the outside remained as gentlemanly as could be. "I am merely stating facts. Once you make a name for yourself, whenever voice roles with similar requirements come up, the first person everyone thinks of will inevitably be you."
"Thank you for your encouragement; I will work hard!" Tang Wan nodded in earnest, completely unaware that she had already turned into a man's prey.
