Chapter 1418: The Blackened Good Girl (53)

He had thought there would be, at most, a few talented young doctors. Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined that the people volunteering as free school doctors at his school would be several physicians with outstanding reputations and established names.

One of them had even performed surgery on him.

Volunteering as unpaid school doctors?

He wouldn't believe it even if he were beaten to death.

He vaguely suspected that these fellows had come only because they wanted to learn something from Qiao Ge.

Speaking of Qiao Ge, even Principal Lin couldn't help sighing. The young man was truly a genius in the medical world. Though only in his twenties, his achievements surpassed what many people who had spent their entire lives in medicine could only dream of.

There were some people in this world whom one couldn't even envy.

One could only willingly kneel before them.

Qiao Ge was exactly that kind of person.

After greeting the newly arrived volunteer doctors, Principal Lin clasped his hands behind his back and walked away smiling.

Now he wasn't worried in the slightest.

With those few around, forget minor illnesses—even serious emergencies could be handled without any problems.

That boy Qiao Ge really had some ability, actually bringing in such distinguished doctors to work for free.

As Principal Lin returned to his office, he happened to glance downstairs from the corridor.

There he saw Qiao Ge carrying a vegetable basket and heading out of the school grounds.

He nearly tumbled headfirst over the railing.

This brat was truly willing to do anything to deliver himself into that little girl's hands.

By now, everyone at the school was accustomed to seeing Qiao Ge riding his bicycle to the market with a vegetable basket hanging from it.

Every time, he became a sight to behold.

Handsome, with a bright smile, yet carrying a basket to buy vegetables.

The contrast was so adorable that people couldn't get enough of it.

The boys at school hated Qiao Ge.

If it weren't for him, would they really be unable to find girlfriends?

Whenever they confessed, the girls would ask if they knew how to cook and whether they only wanted to date them so they could hold their hands.

The moment they acted improperly, the girls would call them frivolous and reject them outright.

Male students: “…”

Time passed in the blink of an eye.

A month later, it was finally the day before the college entrance examination.

Tang Mother and Tang Father had both returned home, intending to accompany Tang Guo to the examination.

That evening, the System informed Tang Guo that several hoodlums who hung around with Wu Lingling had gone to the driver's house and punctured his car tires.

The driver lived nearby.

For convenience, he usually parked the car at his own home and would arrive punctually downstairs at Tang Guo's house the next morning.

“Record it,” Tang Guo said before going to sleep.

Early the next morning, Tang Mother and Tang Father received the news that the tires had somehow been punctured.

Had they never experienced the Yellow Millet Dream, they might have thought it was merely a coincidence.

But now, whenever they closed their eyes, scenes from that dream appeared before them.

To prevent Wu Lingling from harming Tang Guo, they had even investigated her.

They didn't believe that puncturing tires was a trivial matter.

It might very well be part of a conspiracy.

The couple exchanged glances and, seeing that Tang Guo hadn't come downstairs yet, quietly discussed the matter.

“How about we separate and take two cars?” Tang Mother frowned. “Whether we're overthinking it or not, it's better to be careful. If it really was her, then…”

Tang Father sighed.

“This is my fault. I didn't think so much about it. I thought it would just be an ordinary college entrance exam.”

When Tang Guo finally came downstairs, both Tang Mother and Tang Father froze.
