Chapter 1075: The Flash Marriage Heiress (59)

“That's right, Yicheng. I've heard people say that Xiaoguo invested who knows how much money into the company from beginning to end.” Elder Sister Luo was equally supportive. Neither of them thought there was anything wrong with putting the villa under Tang Guo's name.

To be more precise, neither had ever imagined that Luo Yicheng and Tang Guo would divorce.

In their eyes, life was wonderful now.

Deep down, Tang Guo held an extremely high position in their hearts. Mother Luo practically regarded her as half a daughter.

Without Tang Guo, would they have been able to attend upper-class social banquets and witness such a colorful world?

Would Luo Yicheng have been able to start a company so smoothly, simply because he wanted to?

She was a rich young lady with countless assets under her name.

Would she really care about a mere villa?

Both women felt that Luo Yicheng had finally become enlightened. At last, he knew how to make his wife happy and buy her gifts.

A villa was just a villa.

As long as Tang Guo was happy and the family remained harmonious, there was no problem.

They also knew that in the early days of the company, whenever emergencies arose in the middle of the night, a single phone call from the office would summon Tang Guo over.

This rich young lady not only had money, but ability as well.

The Luo family had truly been the ones benefiting from the marriage.

Seeing the approval on their faces, Luo Yicheng secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

He didn't dare reveal what buying the villa for Tang Guo really meant.

Nor was he willing to reveal it yet.

If his mother and sister knew what he was planning, they would probably lose their minds.

Thus, the entire family happily set out to buy a villa.

After only a week, they finally found one that everyone liked. After discussing it together, they bought it and registered it under Tang Guo's name.

Afterward, the whole family busied themselves moving into the new home.

“Mom, Sister, why don't you pick your rooms first?” Tang Guo said with a smile.

Mother Luo quickly shook her head.

“No, you should choose first, Xiaoguo. You've already suffered enough following Yicheng all these years. Now that he's finally achieved something, you should be the first to choose.”

“Exactly, Xiaoguo,” Elder Sister Luo agreed. “You're the greatest contributor in this family.”

“Since you insist, then I won't stand on ceremony.”

The villa had plenty of rooms, and all of them were quite nice.

Tang Guo chose one with beautiful scenery outside the window.

Coincidentally, it was also the room Mother Luo had secretly liked from the very beginning.

The family moved into the villa happily.

Then one day, Mother Luo suddenly thought of something. Looking at Tang Guo, she asked,

“Xiaoguo, now that everything's gotten better, shouldn't you and Yicheng start thinking about having a child?”

She hadn't mentioned it before because Luo Yicheng had been in the middle of his career's rise, while Tang Guo herself had been incredibly busy.

In her opinion, building a career was more important. Mother Luo wasn't the type of old woman who thought children were everything.

Back then, after her husband died young, she had relied on the help of the villagers to raise Luo Yicheng and Elder Sister Luo, eventually even putting Luo Yicheng through school.

Although life had become sweet after all those hardships, remembering those difficult years still brought bitterness to her heart.

If they had had better circumstances back then, would they have suffered so much?

So she had never objected to young people focusing on their careers first and waiting until life was stable before having children.

At that point, nothing would be delayed.

With money and ability, raising children would be much easier.

Now that everything had settled down, the thought naturally surfaced in her mind.

Tang Guo was only twenty-seven this year, while Luo Yicheng was slightly older.

This was the perfect age to have children.

“Yicheng seems very busy lately,” Tang Guo said. “The company has an important project at the moment. I'm afraid now isn't the right time.”
